My gorgeous little 22 month old niece Ruby ran into her lounge room yesterday to grab my sister, her mum, so excited. She grabbed her mother’s hand, and told her she wanted her to follow her to her bedroom, still hyper excited, once they had made it into her room she told her mum that the faeries had come to visit, pointing to the spots of sunlight that had appeared on the wall in her bedroom. The day before her father Shaun, currently finishing his Diploma in Early Childhood Studies, had told her that those spots of sunlight were the faeries coming to visit her. Well, she remembered the following day, it made her day, she was so excited they’d come to visit her room that she had to get her mother to come and see them, once there to see she ran through the rest of the house as fast as her little legs allowed her to see where else the faeries had decided to visit. She’s such a cutie pie, just a pity for me she’s over the other side of the country, some several thousand kilometres away. I’m looking forward to seeing her again on Christmas day by which time she’ll be 25 months.
